Background

Joan Moats has been in the real estate business for nearly ten years, and has a variety of experience in all aspects of buying and selling high-end, luxury, real estate with distinguished personal service.

Her experience in small business management and financial planning helps her provide additional service to her clients, whether doing a 1031 exchange, reviewing absorption rates, calculating value by income approach or analyzing appreciation percentages.

Born and raised in Iowa, she has been a resident of Summit County for over twenty-one years.

Management of several portfolios, heavy in residential and commercial real estate, totaling close to $30MM in assets.
Negotiation and management of long term commercial leases.
Managed the financial side of a very successful real estate business for five years.
Built a very successful accounting/bookkeeping business including additional services such as tax preparation, financial planning and business consulting.
Provided streamline consulting to small businesses, advising on how to cut unnecessary expenses and monitor a safe rate of growth.

Joan completed additional educational requirements at Florida State University towards her Certificate in Financial Planning and has a Bachelor's in Business Administration.
